Shipping Info for Website
Orders placed weekdays by 2:00PM EST will ship that day. Please
note, however, that during the Summer, we may choose not to ship over
the weekend due to the perishable nature of our chocolates.
Here are our shipping rates, effective: November 1, 2011
For orders under $500.00:
For Next Day Service, add $20.00 to above rates. For 2-Day Service, add $10.00 to above rates. Hawaii, Florida & Alaska must always ship 2-Day or Next Day. Please note: When shipping to Alaska, these services are not guaranteed.
Number of Days to Ship UPS Ground
Below is a map of the number of days it takes to ship from Swan Chocolates in New Hampshire. If you are shipping to an address outside of New England, there may be additional shipping charges to expedite your order so it doesn't melt in transit. (See our Summer Shipping Policy for details. )
Delivery Options & Deadlines
We ship exclusively with UPS and transit times vary depending on destination. Standard deliveries are only made on weekdays. Standard delivery via ground service takes 1-6 business days. If you wish, 2 Day (delivery within 2 business days), Next Day (delivery within one business day) air service, and Saturday Shipping are available for an additional charge. Orders placed after 2:00PM EST will not ship until the next business day.
Note: Late deliveries are always possible, but we've done our best to ensure they're as infrequent as possible.
Special Handling Due to the perishable nature of our chocolates. We pack each box with special insulation and ice packs as required.
Shipping rates and methods vary by time of year. From May 1 to September 30, we take extra precautions and ship via 2-Day Air or Next Day Air, as needed. There is an extra charge of $10.00 (2 Day Air) and $20 (Next Day Air) added to your standard shipping cost. We pack each box with special insulation and gel ice to ensure the safe arrival of your chocolates.
For shipments to warm weather destinations and during the Summer months, we ship orders on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday only to to prevent chocolates from sitting on a truck over a weekend and to ensure safe delivery.
Restrictions
Please note that we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. You must provide a street address for your order. Be sure to include appropriate suite or apartment numbers when necessary to ensure proper delivery. Deliveries are only made on weekdays. UPS does not deliver on weekends. We may choose not to ship an order over the weekend to ensure items will arrive in perfect condition.
We do not ship outside of the United States.
